Our client, an institution of higher learning in Scientific and Technological Formation based in Nairobi, invites suitably qualified candidates to fill the vacant position.

Job Requirements:

· Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, Business Administration or any other relevant qualification from a recognized institution.

· Minimum of five (5) years working experience in Security Management, with a focus on both physical and information security.

· Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to lead and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Developing and implementing security policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure a safe and secure environment.

· Conducting risk assessments to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.

· Overseeing and implementing security measures to protect the organization’s assets, employees, and information.

· Conducting drills and training exercises to ensure preparedness.

· Coordinating with relevant authorities during emergencies.

· Implementing access control measures for employees and visitors.

· Leading investigations into security incidents or breaches.

· Documenting and reporting findings.

· Recommending corrective actions.

· Conducting regular security audits and assessments.

· Staying informed about relevant laws and regulations related to security.

· Providing regular reports to the management on security status and incidents among other duties.
